Egypt

So, for those of you who don't know, the JC crew has been in Egypt this last week. I just wanted to inform everyone that we were completely safe the entire time. We were never in any danger, and we have made it back safely home to the Jerusalem Center.

I know now, more than ever, that the Lord's hand was guiding us through this week. For one, if we had a trip scheduled for next week, there's no way we could have gone to Egypt. Also, we were there, we always seemed to be in the parts of Egypt that meant we were far from danger, and we had a safe and uneventful exit from the country today.

I must emphasize that this was no coincidence. For instance, several months ago when these travel arrangements were being made, an arrangement was attempted to have us stay in a certain hotel in Cairo. This hotel ended up being in the middle of some of the first riots, and we were far from it, safely in another hotel.

The Lord is watching over us and has protected us this entire week. Honestly, we knew details because of the news we watched as we stayed in our hotels on Friday, not because we were seeing anything.

This gospel is true. I know it is.
