It's been a year since I went to Jerusalem now, and I can scarcely believe that time has flown so quickly. Now, I am three days away from embarking on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Kyiv, Ukraine! I will do two months of language study (Ukrainian) in the Provo Missionary Training Center before I head over there.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity, and am excited for this work! However, I will miss all of my friends and family here in the US (particularly my wonderful boyfriend Nick). My ability to communicate will be extremely limited in comparison with what it is now - I am only allowed to write friends letters. However, I can email my family weekly, and so my older sister has graciously volunteered to update this blog for me while I'm gone with some of those emails, so check back here every week if you want to see how I'm doing!
